The Butterfly Effect
A jet-black swallowtail butterfly with white speckled wings landed on my butterfly bush.
It caught my eye on this summer day.
I observed it for a few moments in its beauty, and an appreciation for the summer, nature, and life overcame me.
Then it flew away.
It made my day.
These trivial butterflies live for a mere ten days, but I’ll remember this brief encounter for a long time.
I guess that’s why they call it the butterfly effect.
