The Model T was one of the greatest products made in America, pioneered by Henry Ford.
Ford brought cars to the masses, prompting President Hoover to promise, “A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage?”
But Henry Ford’s father was an Irish immigrant and his mother’s family was Belgian immigrants.
So, while Henry was made “in” America, he was made “from” Europe.
And who worked in Ford’s factory on his moving assembly line?

Parts come from Japan, Poland, Germany, and many other countries.
The F-150 is sold as “Built Ford Tough.”
But it turns out that it is just 32% American made.
