Floppy Art
Taylor Smith’s art features bright colors in a graphic style: a mix of Andy Warhol and Shepard Fairey.
But if you look closer, you’ll see floppy disks making up Abraham Lincoln, a skier, or an astronaut.
Smith may be the only person still buying floppy disks!
Each floppy disk is like a pixel, coming together in this mixed media work.
These old disks only hold 1.44MB, barely enough for an image of Lincoln, and may be obsolete.
Yet now they offer a new way to interpret the world.

Wow 😮
